The said post, which was captioned “My face still hurts from smiling,” painted a picture of a blissful wedding full of colors. Both the bride and groom were enjoying themselves along with the rest of their guests.

Since Usmani and his wife both attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts it could have been possible the couple crossed their paths while studying in 2013. They formed a close friendship, which eventually turned romantic by November of that year. 

However, the duo kept their bond out of the public eye for some time. It was only in July 2014 that Usmani’s love shared the first photo of them together on her Instagram, making their status public.

Over the next few years, Tedra continued posting occasional couple photos on social media, like the time when she marked their two years of togetherness with a picture on Instagram on November 25, 2015.

Likewise, her social handle also features pictures of their outings and birthday wishes. So, while remaining relatively low-key key, the duo has been going strong in their connection for more than 10 years now.

Millan is an American actress with a wide range of credits to her name. Her career began in 2012. Some of her most notable television appearances have been as Rivka Goldberg in the series Almost Family and (2019) as Hannah Melvey in the series Katy Keene (2020). She has also appeared in movies like Daddy’s Girl (2022).

Furthermore, in 2017, she made her Broadway debut in the Tony-nominated play Present Laughter (2017). She played the role of Daphne Stillington, a young woman who becomes smitten with the narcissistic lead character, Garry Essendine. 

Off-Broadway, she has appeared in theater productions like Sarah DeLappe’s The Wolves (2017), Jessie Eisenberg’s Happy Talk (2019), and Simon Stephan’s On the Shore of the Wind World (2017).

Millan had discovered a passion for show business early on and pursued it seriously, taking various classes to hone her craft. 

In 2010, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater performance from the University of Michigan. She also obtained a master’s degree in classical acting, graduating from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

Usmani is an acclaimed actor with a varied upbringing contributing to his experiences. He was born in Pakistan to Muslim parents but spent most of his childhood traveling around Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Slovakia, and Nigeria. 

Following that, he first stepped into the entertainment industry in 2012 with a small role in the TV series The Firm. It was the beginning of what has become a steadily growing career over the last decade.

Some of his earliest roles after his debut included appearances in Covert Affairs (2010-2014), Nikita (2010-2013), Splinter Cell: Blacklist (2013), and a voice-acting gig in Assassin’s Creed Origins (2017).

However, Usmani’s big break came in 2015 when he was cast as Martin in the hit TV show Reign (2013-2017) about Mary, Queen of Scots. His portrayal of Martin spanned multiple episodes over several seasons and significantly raised his profile. 

On the heels of this momentum, he began booking larger supporting roles in shows like Killjoys (2015), The Other Two (2019-2023), and Succession (2018-2023) between 2017 and 2019. In 2020, he appeared in five episodes of the series Katy Keene alongside his wife. 

Similarly, in 2021-2022, Usmani played roles in The Good Fight (2017-2022), Inventing Anna (2022), and The Mauritanian (2021). He is also making an appearance in The Three-Body Problem in March 2024.
