Jeremiah Peniata Fatu, whose wrestling name is Thamiko Fatu, is the son of former WWE wrestler Solofa Fatu Jr (Rikishi) and the younger brother of Jonathan Solofa Fatu (Jimmy Uso) and Joshua Samuel Fatu (Jey Uso).
He was the only son from Rikishi’s family who was not part of a major wrestling promotion. However, that has changed. To find out more about his family history and everything leading up to his current debut, follow the article below:
Jeremiah Peniata Fatu Comes from a Family of Great Wrestlers
Jeremiah was born on August 30, 1986, to Rikishi and his wife, Talisua Fuavai, in Los Angeles, California. He is the middle child of the family. His siblings include older brothers Jimmy and Jey, twins born a year earlier, and younger ones Joseph Yokozuna Fatu (Solo Sikoa) and Thavana Monalisa.
As mentioned, Jeremiah is a part of the great Anoa’i family, the prestigious Samoan wrestling heritage. Aside from his three brothers who work for WWE, most of his cousins and uncles are also wrestlers. His cousins include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Roman Reigns (Leati Joseph Anoaʻi), who do not need much introduction.
Besides them, his uncles include the likes of WWE Hall of Famers, Yokozuna (Rodney Agatupu Anoaʻi), Tonga Kid (Sam Fatu), and Umaga (Edward Smith Fatu).
Jeremiah Fatu Has a Close Relationship with All of His Siblings
The whole Anoa’i family is tightly knit, especially Jeremiah’s relationship with all of them is great. His sister, Thavana, is a plus-sized model. His older brothers Jimmy and Jey are one of the most successful tag teams in WWE, having won multiple titles.
As for his younger brother Solo, he is also on the WWE roster, making his debut alongside The Usos. The three brothers have been involved in a storyline with Roman Reigns as part of the Bloodline.
Alongside that, Fatu is also close with his sisters-in-law, Trinity Fatu, aka Naomi (Jimmy’s wife), Almia Williams (Solo’s wife), and Takecia Travis (Jey’s wife). Similarly, he is the fun uncle to their kids Jaiden and Jayla Fatu (Jimmy’s kids), Jaciyah and Jeyce Fatu (Jey’s Kids), and Za’khi Christopher Fatu and Zion Fatu (Solo’s kids).
Education and Earlier Career
Jeremiah’s parents Rikishi and Talisua were very serious about their children’s education. The wrestling legend initially didn’t want his kids to become wrestlers as he knew about the sacrifices they have to make. So, they were required to take their education very seriously.
As such, Jeremiah attended Escambia High School in California for his high school diploma. He is also said to be a graduate of the University of California.
Moving into Fatu’s initial professional journey, he worked as a Stocker at K-Mart (2009-2010) and Walmart (2010-2011). Furthermore, he held the position of customer service clerk at Proactive Installations from 2011 to 2013. Besides this, he was reportedly an actor as well.
Jeremiah Peniata Fatu Is The Father of Two Kids
Jeremiah has shared very limited information regarding his relationship with the public. However, in early 2013, his father Rikishi shared a picture of two children with the following caption on Instagram and X (formerly Twitter):
“My beautiful grandkids thank you Jeremiah Fatu & Kim Leaea. My Bloodline.”
Thus, it is clear that Fatu has secretly been on a fatherhood journey with his two kids.
Could it be that Jeremiah is married with two children but decides to keep his marital life under wraps?
He Shares A Good Bond With his Father
Looking at Rikishi’s social media posts, it is evident that he is proud of all of his children. He also shares a loving bond with Jeremiah. The middle kid of the former wrestler bears the most resemblance to him. The father-son duo often go out to eat together and even attend events. Besides, in an Instagram post, his dad mentioned he loved dancing with Thamiko.
